Health and Safety Advisor

PURPOSE:

To assist the Infrastructure Quality Manager and staff with cell site deployment H&S activities. Support the existing team providing cover in the central England/Midlands area. Central to this role with be the development of documentation to cover existing Health and Safety management processes.

- Reviewing and addressing issued raised by third party Managed Service Partner (MSP) H&S audits
- Document audit scopes and audit processes
- Review and update Legacy H&S documentation
- Review and adjudicate audit findings with Managed Service Partner (MSP) undertaking volume audits on rollout activities
- Carry out supplier meetings and follow up and manage actions. Ensure actions with others are followed through.
- Carry out site surveys to review H&S issues and propose solutions to issues raised
- Carry out spot audits (site and desktop) to ensure audit finding have been properly addressed
- Review of audit finding with contractors including action plans to improve performance where issues raised
- Auditing H&S MSP to ensure audits are carried out satisfactorily
- Monthly reporting of audit findings to client
- Assist with H&S/CDM audits of contractors and Update and review responses to audits from contractors
- Liaison with:
- Network Deployment community
- Third part Managed Service Partner carrying out audits
- Customer

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- Health & Safety professional with construction industry experience essential
- Mobile telecommunications experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to review, update and document new H&S processes
- Clean driving license
- Rooftop trained
- QA and auditing experience desirable but not essential
- Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Minimum NEBOSH general certificate

LOCATION

Coventry but willing to travel frequently to all UK destinations.
