Projektbeschreibung

Site Safety, Health, Fire & PPE Co-ordinator required, for coordinating, advising and managing Health and Safety issues on site, maintaining OHS&E documentation by reviewing all company site procedures and systems where required.

You will be responsible for advising project staff, operatives and sub-contractors on the construction site, or at their site offices on all Occupational Health and Safety matters.

This includes, but not limited to:
Provision of health and safety advice to the project team
Management and implementation of Health & Safety procedures
Monitoring Health & Safety performance
Liaison with the CDM Co-ordinator, client representatives, and external agencies
Review Work Package Plans and Task Briefings
Liaison with Health and Safety Team
Workforce consultation meetings
Site delivered Training
Reporting Health and Safety performance to Tubelines
Health and Safety initiatives
Attending and chairing meetings with Project Staff, Contractors and sub-contractors.
Escorting senior management, visitors, client around site answering questions related to site activities.
Advising project team and contractors on systems and standards
Liaising with project team on London Underground rail related works
Review of project documentation.
Auditing on site, construction staff and contractor safety performance also documentation updates are in compliance with company procedures.
Inspection of site - regular site audits/inspections written reports.
Regularly reviewing site activities and enforcing safe working practices
Preparation and delivery of Induction Talks and Tool Box Talks.
Accident/incident investigation and producing reports.
Advise and assist in dealing with Permits to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Compile training requirements for the workforce.
Review and approval of Project and Contractors documentation.
Review the site IMS Plan
Method Statement, Emergency Plan, Risk, manual handling, COSHH assessments.
General H &S administration - correspondence, reports and filing.
Dealing with HSE correspondence and issuing reports when required.

Required Experience
Knowledge of Health and Safety Standards as defined by the HSE.
Knowledge of latest H &S Regulations dealing with construction, design management regulations.
Experience in environmental issues.
Experience of providing Health and Safety advice with a London Underground environment
Ability to be analytical and logical with exceptional listening and questioning skills.
Working towards becoming a dedicated Health & Safety professional in construction

This will be a 6 month contract, working on a part time basis 2-3 days a week.
