MY DUTIES:

- Heading the commercial supply chain management & distribution (SCM&D) organization
- All aspects of commercial SCM&D products including strategy, design and implementation
- All external partnerships related to SCM&D
- All related projects and processes in collaboration with partners
- Oversight on supply chain & distribution risk management process and risk mitigation measures
- Strategy and design of the supply chain for Santhera's marketed products, Early Access Programs (EAP) and special supply programs provided by any Santhera affiliate
- Definition, preparation and maintenance of all product launch activities (by any Santhera affiliate) and processes in the EU, US and Rest-of-World (RoW) countries
- Evaluation, selection, contracting and relationship management of supply chain service providers (e.g. artwork, printing, freight forwarding, storage, etc.) for any Santhera affiliate)
- Significant involvement in evaluation, selection & contracting of new contract mfg organizations
- Collaboration with the Commercial Operations department and other partners in the evaluation, selection, operational implementation and relationship management of contractors
- Collaboration with the Commercial Alliance partner teams within line function responsibility
- Control of all SCM&D related activities in cooperation with marketing, technical functions and service providers including regulatory, commercial and GMP/GDP aspects
- Forecasting and calculation of supply needs and inventory management
- Purchasing/ toll manufacture ordering of API, drug product, finished product and - if applicable - printed packaging material, as well as other supply chain related services
- Inventory responsibility of Commercial Supply Chain according to given financial targets
- Project leadership for SCM&D projects (e.g. new systems, processes)
- Budgeting commercial manufacturing and SCM&D related services costs
- The job holder has the responsibility to train and comply with the SOPs indicated in the SOP training matrix

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Academic degree in applied sciences, healthcare, economic or equivalent education
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in several roles in Supply Chain Management and Distribution, on European or global level
- Ideally previous leadership experience
- Ideally previous experience in managing end-to-end process: from manufacturing to delivery to patient
- Previous experience in roles with broader area of responsibilities: from managing day to day operations to highly strategic aspects
- Background of working in a small Pharma / Biotech company
- Experience in inventory management, supply planning and execution and batch tracking in an ERP environment
- Understanding and experience applying technical, quality (GMP/GDP), regulatory, marketing processes in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in of commercial distribution, customer service and order to cash processes
- Certification in Production and Inventory Control (CPIM) or similar education in supply chain management techniques would be highly appreciated
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration inside the company, as well as with business partners
- Fluency in English, both written and oral, German language and additional languages constitute a plus
