Head Strategic Communications, Marketing & Insight

Our Central Government Client requires a Head of Strategic Communication, Marketing and Insight for a 7 month maternity cover based in Central London with an immediate start

*Due to the nature of the role, SC Security Clearance will be required*

The role requires strong professional experience and skills in marketing and insight as well as strategic communications.

Role Duties:
- Co-ordinate and lead Client Communications through the Communications Capability Review in April
- Lead the development of new marketing strategies for high profile charity and drugs, rape and teenage relationship abuse and promotion of visa services in international markets
- Lead procurement of marketing services to deliver the above strategies
- Devise and implement new ways of working for insight and strategic communications, building strong links with the Head of Crime Unit and the Ministerial Strategy Unit
- Lead the implementation of a wide range of new communication activities as set out in the Communication Strategy 2013/14
- Lead a workstream on corporate efficiency in line with recommendations from the Capability Review and the Permanent Secretary's vision for the Client shared corporate services.
- Reporting to Director of Communication, with 3 direct reports (2 at G6 level, 1 at G7 level)

- Team leadership and people management

Knowledge Required:
Leadership and core Central Government and Civil Service skills including people management, programme and project management, financial management.
