Head of UX/Product Contract

To sum up the role we are looking for a Head of UX/Product Design to manage the largest team of UI/UX designers and researchers in Ireland. The team is currently 22 strong and growing and the role is responsible for the strategic roadmap of their online offering across web, mobile and tablet. It is also responsible for the Back Office trading systems and their physical in store experience. It's a 6 month contract and with an excellent daily rate on offer.

THE JOB

- Provide thought leadership and a unifying vision for the interaction design and user experience for digital products
- Continue to grow and maintain the UX/Product Design team so that it attracts, creates, and retains amazing talent
- Champion an organisation-wide user-centred design process
- Manage, mentor and support a team of Product Design Managers, UX Research and UI professionals
- Define Product Design goals & strategy, and work closely with senior stakeholders
- To liaise, collaborate and work with teams across the business

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Well versed in mobile and user-centred design methodologies
- An excellent communicator
- An appreciation of how product design works with and integrates into software development (such as Agile, Lean)
- An excellent knowledge of the betting industry
- Line management experience
- Focused on collaboration and driving optimal experiences
