THE BUSINESS: Large Retailer

THE JOB:

A national retail giant is investing heavily in a new business stream. They seek a highly skilled IT professional to take ownership of the delivery of a Mobile business.

In a nutshell, the business wants to offer mobile phone contracts to their customers. First prepay and then bill pay.

Working with Service Providers, in-house technology teams, management, retailers and customers, you will be the glue that keeps everything together. There will be lots of moving parts and you will wear multiple hats. You must make sure the mobile systems speak to each other and all hardware and infrastructure is in place to support this.

Reporting to one of the strategic drivers, you will be given autonomy to coordinate all the technical activities and ensure you have enough bums on seats to keep in line with the plan.

- Bring in expertise to support the mobile build
- Requirements gathering - embrace the documentation
- Systems Analysis
- Design Billing Platform
- Build EPOS solution
- Build a Web Solution
- Mobile Technical Lead for CRM
- Be involved with Capex and Opex costs
- Create Technical build plan
- Rollout sophisticated analytics.

My client appreciates there are a number of boxes that must be ticked for this job and not everyone will have experience in all areas.

The offer is a daily rate contract of 18 months. Extension or permanent conversion highly likely. The rate will depend on how many boxes you can tick.

The ideal candidate will have rolled out a new mobile business for a large retailer.
