Head of System Administration

I am looking for a Head of System Administration with a technical background to help maintain and expand the company’s network infrastructure.

My client is a fast paced financial-institute located in the Zurich-area. The company has a strong international focus and is “best-in-class” in their business.

Responsibilities:

- Configuration of new systems for the European data headquarters Zurich-area, affiliated branches, and international locations
- Surveillance of the systems in North America and Asia
- Assure guarantee of the system stability and real-time control of the performance
- Development of tools for the surveillance and automation of system administrative tasks
- Supervision and leading of the 10-people team

Requirements:

- Solid education in computer science
- At least 5 years experience in UNIX/LINUX/RED HAT system administration
- leadership experience
- Very good English skills, German is highly preferably
- Efficient, team oriented work habits
