Head of Supply Chain

This role is responsible to support and drive the delivery of identified improvements on key sites for the end to end Global Planning solution within 5 key areas - Leadership, Planning, Scheduling, Data and Flow. The objective of to drive transformation and embedding all aspects of the Global Planning objectives on site so that the change and transformation lives on after the programme comes to an end.

This role is to support the Global Planning Workstream to deliver end to end Global Planning Objectives on key sites. The Delivery Manager supports day to day hands on delivery of the Global Planning objectives at sites.

The role starts by fully understanding the objectives and methodology of the Global Planning programme. This includes the supply review meeting (SRM), supply chain review meeting (SCRM), the demand review meeting (DRM) and sales & operations planning (S&OP).

The Delivery Manager role is responsible for supporting delivery of all aspects of the Global Planning Transformation through the site lead. The scope of the role includes running the day to day deployment and performance management and involves linking with the Global Planning Therapy Leads & PMO team to ensure an efficient roll out of the various initiatives. It also includes ensuring full functional alignment and effective implementation of the Global Planning Strategy Deployment (GPSD) and Supply Chain Transformation (SCT) governance.

The coordination function of the Delivery Manager ensures end to end activities are properly interlinked and sites/people/teams/external resource work together to deliver the GPSD and SCT goals. The role provides hands on support to supply Therapy Transformation Leads/sites with problem solving, putting plans in place, eliminating and removing obstacles, reviewing and challenging KPIs, and prioritising above site resource. The Delivery Manager will work across a number of different sites and part of the role is to ensure an even implementation. Liason with the Global Process Owners for supply,demand and scheduling will be important.
