Head of Supplier Management, c.70k, London

My clients a leading bank based in the City of Londoncurrently seek a Head of Supplier Management IT services and systems, up to c.70k (plus excellent benefits and bonus potential). Working as an integral part of Group IT you will be lead a sizeable team of Supplier Managers/Contract specialists and manage a multi-million pound budget. In this high profile role you will have the opportunity to set and influence strategy and innovation that will make a significant difference to cost effectiveness around managing the supply chain for IT services and systems. Key deliverables will include: -Significant input to strategy and policy for frameworks around Internal/External service providers -Negotiation with stakeholders and to uncover and address core service issues positively impacting cost -Project/programme manage a variety of projects and service improvements -Provide innovative new solutions as a subject matter expert aimed a improving operational effectiveness. -Constant focus on risk management -Leading and developing a team The ideal candidate well be senior Supplier Management professional who is an excellent influencer and negotiator, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage senior stakeholders.
