Head Of Structures / Aerospace / CVE - Surrey

Seeking a Head of Structures to work for an extremely exciting organisation based inSurrey. This is a critical role for a growing organisation who aims to continuing growing throughout the year. You will be working for a leading provider of aviation services ranging from regular maintenance tasks, fault diagnosis and repair, to minor and major equipment upgrades. In addition they have a very experienced design department who come up with clever avionic solutions, a cappuccino maker or heated toilet seat for your corporate jet or the design for a camera mount or stretcher bearer on your helicopter. This role is for a strong engineer who has at least 5 years experience in Aerospace. Ideally you would have a proven track record in design and have recently moved into more Project Management / Team Lead roles or have a good track record and are looking for that next step up. You core role will be to oversee the projects going on and will be responsible for 2/3 engineers. You will ensure that all projects are running smoothly within time and budgetary constraints and will also have a big part in the negotiation with customers and internal colleagues / groups. Requirements for this role are as follows: - At least 5 years aircraft experience - Previous experience on approval as a structures CVE on some or all CS/FAR parts 23,25,27,29. - Previous experience in an EASA Part 21J environment. For this role you must have full right to live and work in theUKand be acceptable to gain MOD security clearance if not already held.
