Head of Service and Infrastructure

Our multinational end client (Geneva/Lausanne area) is currently looking for a Head of Service and Infrastructure who will join their team on a global business transformation program reporting directly to the CIO.

This is a long term opportunity (min 3 years contract) at our client's headquarter.

*The program will include a major IS/IT transformation for which SAP and Hybris have been selected as strategic software partners.
*This role is accountable for ensuring that all aspects of our business operations which rely on IT to function are able to do so.
*To ensure the efficient ongoing provision of IT services to the business and to deliver IT infrastructure in accordance with the agreed IT strategy.


*To ensure that IT Service to the HQ, Markets, Supply Chain and Manufacturing meets agreed performance measures.
*To ensure that the Service Delivery model is fit for purpose, cost effective and responsive to the growing needs of the business including the appropriate use and management of 3rd parties.
*To drive continuous improvement in Service Delivery performance and approach.
*To ensure that all service management processes are fit for purpose - issue, problem change, capacity etc.

*To shape (in conjunction with the architect community) and manage the delivery of the Infrastructure project portfolio ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and quality.
*To ensure the client has a robust, secure and sustainable IT infrastructure underpinning its operations.

*Continuous engagement with key stakeholders on matters of service delivery establishing meaningful performance measures and raising the profile of service delivery within the business
*Support effective working relationships among IS/IT leadership team and with key stakeholders in the business.

People Development
*Accountable for appropriate, effective team structures, size, phasing, skill sets, developing a high performing team, managing timely recruitment, succession plans, performance management, personal development & training.

*Leadership experience (12+ years), having successfully delivered on above KPIs
*Service delivery experience in a Retail Organisation
*Infrastructure delivery experience (ideally in a Retail environment)
*Demonstrably pragmatic approach
*Led Matrix organization, multi-disciplinary teams
*Stakeholder Management at senior levels
*Strong influencing and negotiation skills
*Excellent oral and written communication in English
*Strong decision making and analysis skills
