HEAD OF SAP IMPLEMENTATION - REGIONAL RETAIL PROJECTS - EXCELLENT REMUNERATION PACKAGE

One of the world's premier FMCG Brands now have this new and exciting opportunity due to progressive growth and expansion.

This position will be mainly responsible for overseeing various new SAP projects for Asia Pacific operations. This position will also require the incumbent to act as the main contact point with major internal clients to ensure communication and provision of sufficient support for business operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with external vendors and internal teams to ensure that results are delivered on time and are of satisfactory quality.
- Responsible for vendor/solution selection and negotiations, user requirement analysis, preparation of functional specifications, testing, user communication and support. Apply and promote project management tools and best practices in our organization.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation is provided by vendors and internal resources.
- Work with colleagues in the European headquarters to roll out projects across the Asia-Pacific region.
- Identify opportunities for new projects to enhance business operational
- efficiency.
- Evaluate project feasibility by conducting operation and business case study, and recommend solution based on available technology.
- Manage project planning and development, as well as leading the project teams to ensure successful delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

- University Degree holder in Computer Science or related subject
- At least 12 years total IT working experience
- 8 years+ of project management experience within the retail industry, ideally with PMP certification
- Strong track record of overseeing and delivering Retail Merchandising focused SAP projects
- Design of SAP blueprint and roadmap for the amalgamation of multiple business strands
- Hands-on implementation experience on large-scale supply chain ERP projects
- Regional exposure and level experience and in MNC environment is required
- High tolerance for ambiguity: the focus is on new projects so the scope and requirements of the projects are usually not clearly defined
- Dynamic, responsible, willing to take initiative and rigorous
- Excellent communication skills and able to work independently
- Excellent analytical skill and users' management skill is needed - able to manage user expectations and assist them in presenting requirements in a structured fashion.
- Must be customer service oriented, with excellent understanding of the retail business operation model
