Head of Risk - PPI/Complaints Handling/Operational Risk - 12 month contract

My leading banking client is looking for an experienced Risk Professional to join them on a long term PPI programme. The role will sit within a Governance and Control function with the primary focus on control activities within Operational Risk and Regulatory Compliance.

The role will take a key role in PPI and Controls leadership teams, determining and driving risk priorities for PPI Operations business and well as supporting the Divisional Risk Director in day to day leadership of the teams.

Candidates MUST be able to demonstrate either experience the PPI Operations business or Operational Risk Management in a FS company.

The core accountabilities of the role are:
*Lead, drive and embed pragmatic and best practice Risk Management across the PPI Operations business
*Lead implementation of business control assessments and support any remediation activities.
*Build strong relationships with Senior Management across the programme
*Proactively build and manage relationships within group across the Three Lines of Defence.

This role can be based from South Wales, North West England, or London and will involve travel to various sites.
