Investment Bank - Tier One - London

My client is looking for a Regional Head of Business Risk Management to join them on an initial 6 month contract, which is primarily a Risk Management and Internal control function across Technology for a number of services, including, but not limited to:

- Risk Controls Assessment
- Audit Issues Review & Management
- Dispensation & Risk Acceptance Process Management
- Monitoring of IT Operational Losses
- Regulatory Compliance.

In order to be successful in gaining this position, you will have strong knowledge of the theoretical aspects of governance frameworks as well as strong practical experience. At interview, you will be expected to provide examples of how, why and when you've worked within the frameworks as well as discuss the issues that have been faced and solutions you have come up with.

Additionally, rounded knowledge of trade life cycles across a range of products is essential. Extensive tier one banking experiences would be ideal.

Essential Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications

- Extensive experience in operational risk management, internal control or internal audit
- Knowledge of risk management best practices in technology in financial services
- Proven programme/project/process management experience
- Solid track record of driving change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have managemed globally spread teams

Good understanding and experience in:

- Global Banking and Markets
- Regulatory and Compliance
- Programme/Project Management
- Software Development Lifecycle
- Information Security/Access Management
- IT Audit, accounting or control-related qualifications (ACA, ACMA, CISA, CIA, CISSP etc.)
