Initial 3 month contract

Our client, a large UK retail banking group are recruiting for a Head of Regulatory Risk and Compliance for an initial 3 month contract with the opportunity of extension or transferring to a Permanent role or extended contract.

As the Head of Regulatory Risk and Compliance it will be your responsibility to,

Take responsibility for the Compliance Oversight Function including AML and maintaining and updating policies and procedures, governance, training, etc.
Key liaison in the firms relationship with the FCA and other regulators.
Development of Regulatory reporting and governance process
Design and implementation of a regulatory breach reporting and root cause process
Oversight of the Market Surveillance function.
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and rules.
Act as point of contact within the company for compliance queries, providing advice and support to the business on a range of compliance related issues.
To prepare and deliver an annual Compliance Monitoring Plan.
To prepare and deliver an bi-annual MLRO reports.
Production of Regulatory Risk Policies and Risk Appetite statements
Provide guidance and day to day support to various Sales and Marketing divisions within the company.
Provide advice to the business on AML and general regulatory matters.
Covering risk and governance, business plan, controls and capital and on-going financial requirements
implementation of a Training & Competence schemes
Designing a series of Regulatory Key Risk Indicators
Design and implementation of a regulatory assurance approach/plan of assurance activity
Oversight of the design and implementation of AML processes and procedures
