An outstanding, caring and specialist arts college that champions creativity is looking for an experienced Head of Religious Education/Religious Studies to start in January. This is a great opportunity for a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Religious Education for an oversubscribed school in Central London, which supports professional development

The school has a thriving Religious Education department and is very supportive of their staff. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly teaching team, and make a real impact on the religious and philosophical studies of the students. The pupils at the school have a real desire to learn and improve in the subject, and this is supported fully by the ethos of the school.

The school is open to teachers who have experience of working purely as a teacher as well as teachers with more experience of leading departments in a head or deputy head role. The successful candidate should be able to teach Religious Education (RE) across the Secondary age range (KS3, KS4, KS5) and demonstrate the ability to be organised, communicate well with pupils as well as promote effective teaching and learning.

To become part of the team at this local Secondary School you will be:
* Prepared to commit to this fabulous opportunity initially on a contract to permanent basis
* Have a minimum of 6 months school experience in the UK
* Be able to inspire and motivate children of mixed abilities to enjoy and improve their confidence

* Be a great role model with a real sense of responsibility for the outcomes for your children
* Be used to working as part of a team to enhance the overall abilities of children across the school
* Be approachable and have a calm and communicative approach to problem solving
* Be able to demonstrate the ability to make learning fun, inspiring and encourage results

As part of the Capita Supply Team you will benefit from:-
