Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement

A global market leading manufacturer and logistics business are presenting the opportunity for a new Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager to join the team. This is a market leader who supply into the FMCG industry, globally with over 55,000 employees so presents great career prospects for the right candidate. As Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement you will be based at the companiesBirminghamsite which is the business' technical hub, with 200 employees this site does do some of the more complex manufacture but the main focus is on the logistics at this site. In the role you would be part of the Senior Management team and have responsibility of managing the Quality team and driving Quality on site. A big focus on this role will be customer liaison with the companies' biggest customer. You will be in regular customer meetings both on site and the customersEast Midlandsbased site weekly. The company is looking to get ISO9001 accreditation so you will be instrumental in helping them to achieve this. We are looking for some of the best Quality Managers in the industry. Ideally you will have a logistics or similar background but other industries will be considered. You will need to show good customer liaison skills and a good understanding of ISO9001. On offer for the role is a starting salary of £45,000 to £50,000 depending on level of experience plus 20% bonus, pension, share save scheme, healthcare plan and 25 days holiday.
