Head Of Project Management

Brief

Reporting to the Building Services Director, you will lead the department's Project Management function, taking responsibility for line and resource management of project management staff, in addition to owning the strategy for developing our project management capability. You will also spend approximately 50% of your time leading delivery on specific projects.

* Various other activities as required from time to time by the Building Services Director.

Location

This role will be based in our Headquarters office in Bristol.

Reports to

This role will report to the Director of Building Services.

Desired Skills & Experience

Person Profile
* Essential:
* Demonstrable track record of delivery as Project Manager or Project Director in Building Services / Construction / Engineering.
* Demonstrable track record of line management and team leadership of teams of at least 5 in number.
* Desire and ability to work as part of a management team.
* Gravitas, credibility and influencing skills; the ability to communicate the company message to staff, clients and potential clients in a compelling way.
* Commercially astute; able to recognise risk and opportunity and create strategies to deal with both.
* Desirable:
* Experience of delivering Building Services commissions to retail clients.
* Formal Project Management qualifications (e.g. APM).
* Design and/or estimation experience in a Building Services contracting context.
