THE OPPORTUNITY
The business currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement and contracting specialist to help set up and run the procurement and commercial arrangements with the technology strategy board and external collaborators, both within the UK and internationally.
You will be expected to provide the business with a range of standard and niche products and services that will be competitively tendered by you.
You will also be the go to person for advice on commercial matters including contracts, collaboration agreements and consultancy arrangements.
On top of this you will be the lead on legal matters and provide legal support for the organisation.

YOUR PROFILE
You will have advanced knowledge or procurement processes, methods and techniques, including negotiation skills, contract management and full purchase to pay.
Candidates will also need to have experience in successfully delivering major procurements in the Public Sector and experience of complex non-standard commercial work.
You must also have a working knowledge of contract law and EU Procurement Directives and experience of contract drafting.
