Head of Operational Framework Development

A fantastic opportunity for a World Class experienced Operational Risk Professional at well-known London based Tier 1 Bank. The Head Of Operational Risk Framework Development position will be responsible for heading up a team of Operational Risk SME's from across the Banks business units with the aim of designing and improving the Operational Framework. The Operational Risk framework will need to be supportive of the Bank's Group wide policies and processes and will need to be coordinated across the different business functions.

This interim position will require you to utilise your personal knowledge of Operational Risk Management to meet Senior Stakeholder's requirements within the framework as well as ensuring compliance with the Advanced Measurement Approach. The Framework must be communicated and implemented to meet the highest standards and detailed system requirements.

Essential experience

- The role holder must be an expert in the Operational Risk environment and keep up to date with all regulatory changes (Basel/FSA).
- Must have proven successful use of integrated risk tools and techniques.
- Excellent Project Management Skills- including negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong quantitative skills and technical Operational Risk knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
