I have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Marketing to work for a large blue chip organisation based in Hertfordshire.

Head of Marketing - Digital & Multichannel Strategy
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Hertfordshire
Rate: £Negotiable

Key Competencies:
*Skilled at defining a marketing vision and mobilising others in the design and delivery of solutions, structures and ways of working that deliver to this and translate vision and strategy into reality
*Strong functional experience as a digital marketing professional across the full channel mix - email, PPC, SEO, affiliates, social media, analytics & tracking measurement, display advertising. Candidates should have solid experience of creating and evaluating annual marketing plans across all digital competencies using agencies and operational teams to execute where appropriate
*Highly influential in championing digital marketing projects, initiatives and change programmes with leadership teams and other senior stakeholders across multiple functions
*Experience of delivering new/enhanced digital marketing capabilities to consumers using solid test and learn methodologies and driving continuous improvement and innovation
*Commercially savvy and highly customer focused, with a passion for all things digital and a desire to keep up to date with the latest thinking and trends
*Insight generation - experience in using data to create insights for the business to benefit our customers
*The successful candidate will have a tenacious 'can-do, will-do' mentality. Whilst being personally robust and willing to challenge the status quo you will work closely with other team members and must be able to bring people with you
*Team leadership, development and motivation - you will lead a team of digital marketing professionals to support in the delivery of vision, strategy, up skilling and test and learn activity
*Skilled negotiator and communicator, able to look ahead, identify challenges and issues and find solutions
*Talented relationships manager, with solid experience in managing partnerships and agencies in the digital arena and encouraging adoption of new media and investment models
*Creative, analytical and pragmatic
*A flexible approach to projects that will reflect and respond to the changing nature of the digital environment and the multichannel customer

Key Skills/Experience and Qualifications required
*Senior digital marketing professional with experience across the full mix, with a strong customer and analytical focus
*Team leadership and strong people management
*Experienced in cross functional working to deliver broad and complex change across an organisation
*Vision setting for modern marketing and the design and definition of plans and solutions to reflect this
*Influencing and managing board level and leadership team stakeholders across internal and external functions
*Excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as strong analytical abilities are essential
*Across the board Marketing skills, digital marketing, Ecommerce and digital agencies would be good companies to have experience with

It is essential you have commercial experience of the above.
