A Tier 1 Bank is looking to hire its Head of Service Management Engineering to lead overall strategy and development for Service Management and associated Tools, engineering functions and to be interface between technology and the business. Ideally this person will be a Technical Lead/Product/Service Manager with an engineering/strategy background.
As well as engineering and development this will also include defining the strategy, build business cases, design and deliver new ServiceNow initiatives for Software and Hardware Asset Management, Demand Management, Business Service Management, Release Management and PPM. The ServiceNow platform has to date delivered consolidated and integrated incident, problem, change and configuration management processes across the bank so will be an integral part of the role, alongside an in house developed internal platform.
Skills required:
* Strong understanding of ServiceNow ideally and Remedy or HP
* Strong Technical/Engineering background is important due to leading development
* Service Management/Delivery background in enterprise environment
* Project Management/Delivery background in an enterprise environment
* ITIL processes
* Relationship and resource management
