Head of HR - Financial Services - Ipswich

My client, a global financial services firm, is seeking a commercially focused Head of HR. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a team of 4 and will develop and implement a People Strategy for the UK business. You will act as Senior HR Business Partner to the Leadership team, advising on people management practices and supporting the development of a succession plan and talent pipeline. You will manage, motivate, coach and develop the HR team to ensure they support the business by collaborating with key stakeholders to fully understand business performance issues, objectives and drives, and associated people requirements for both the current and future business challenges. Key areas of focus include: Driving a high performance culture Organisational change Engagement & Retention Reward You will be an experienced HR Generalist with excellent consultancy skills and people management abilities. You will possess good knowledge of HR best practice and legislation and an understanding of change management concepts. You will have gained experience in a corporate environment preferably within professional or financial services.
