Our client, has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Human Resources to join their team based primarily in Bristol but there will also be a lot of travel involved with this role.

- At least 10 years HR experience is required for this position
- Incumbent should have a broad range of HR skills
- BA or BS degree with an MA preferred

MANAGE REGIONAL HR OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

- Coordinate at Regional level all HR day to day support and activity
- Provide HR expertise to people related issues
- Provide HR expert guidance to Global HR projects on behalf of the Global HR Head.
- Ensure HR legal compliance framework
- Drive the development leadership capability across the regions
- Develop and grow potential and capability of the Regional HR team

CO-ORDINATE THE DEPLOYMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF GLOBAL HR TOOLS

- Lead and coordinate the implementation of HR Tools (People In)
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of Regional HR reporting for Business Unit and Corporate Reporting

GLOBALISATION/REGIONALISATION

- Lead and support globalisation/regionalisation initiatives related to HR including off shoring with specific focus on the potential headcount growth for India
- Support Global Job Grading initiatives to ensure consistency and fairness

COORDINATE AND SUPPORT COMMUNICATIONS

- Manage the Regional Communication Plan
- Work closely with Global Communications Team to ensure alignment

.TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Strong HR background with proven experience on general HR practices and processes including Compensation, Resourcing, Training and Development and Employment Law .
- Experience in transversal project management

NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Show intercultural understanding,
- Be customer focused, with 'can do' attitude,
- Able to manage multiple high priority projects,
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the Organization and to build credibility with the customer quickly,
- Proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and be flexible in a changing business context,
- Trustworthy with confidential information,
- Able to make reasoned decisions and to convince,
- Capable of forming strong working relationships throughout the entire Organization.
- French speaking is highly desirable
- Sense of Management and right attitudes.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

- Projects follow-up: analyse and follow-up.
- Client orientation & Quality: get near client relationship, organise constant improvement.

STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

- Entrepreneurship: take measurable risks, ease innovation, face changes.
- Global view: consider cross-country dimension.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

- Lead a multi cultural team: select and develop skills, set & assess performance, delegate & empower, encourage initiatives, manage conflicts.
- Mobilise a multi cultural team: share relevant information, seek to convince, know how to listen, understand & integrate intercultural dimension, promote team spirit, enhance commitment.
