Our client requires a long term supply teacher from September 2013 for maternity cover for a year.

The role is Temporary Head of History. As well as being a teacher with good classroom skills, good organising and leadership qualities you will need to be able to teach 'Government & Politics (British and American) to A-Level'. It is essential that any potential candidate must be able to teach this subject.

I also give below the expectations of long term supply teachers:

• Expected to attend Parents Evenings and meetings for one hour on Tuesdays as part of the school staff for which there is no additional pay.
• Expected to plan lessons, mark work, mark exam papers and write reports as part of their normal duties.
• Expected to attend Inset Days.
