Head of Health & Safety in London for Government Sector Organization

ROLE: HEAD OF HEALTH & SAFETY

LOCATION: NORTH LONDON

DURATION: 3+ Months Initially with possible extension

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: - - Minimum of 3 years` experience in a management role within the NHS.
- Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health.
- Current registration as Registered Safety Practitioner (RSP) with Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (preferred).
- Demonstrated track record in leading and delivering Health & Safety projects.
- NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 or equivalent.
- Effective communicator up to senior level.

DESCRIPTION:

- The post holder is required to comply with all Health & Safety at work policies, procedures and guidelines which form part of this job description.
- The post holder must look after their own health, safety and welfare and be mindful of other persons who may be affected by their acts.
- Employees must co-operate and comply with management instructions regarding Health and Safety issues and report all accidents, incidents and problems as soon as practicable to their line manager or another senior manager
