Our client a high profile government agency is looking for a head of Health and Safety to develop a new Health and Safety strategy and make recommendations as to how this should be implemented and taken forward. The role will be based in Bristol and will require the following

Experience

Experience of successfully delivering health and safety strategies and policies

- Experience of both developing and implementing health and safety policies
- Experience in Stakeholder Management and implementing engagement strategies and communication plans
- Excellent communication skills to deliver reports and giving presentations
- Experience of advising directors
- Experience of creating measure to track business performance and reviewing these to inform future strategies
- Knowledge of the operations of Health and Safety committee and legal health & Safety consultative requirements
- IOS Quality Standards for Health and Safety
