My clients a Financial Services organisation based in the city of Londonseek a Head of Global Sourcing, c.150k base (plus package). This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation as they go a significant change programme. You will lead a sizeable team of sourcing professionals across the full range of categories. As key the key procurement lead you will shape the strategic direction of global procurement in conjunction with your sourcing leadership team. Ultimately responsible for the end to end sourcing lifecycle across multiple countries you will manage a significant amount of annual spend in this varied and challenging strategic role. Key deliverables will include: -Delivery of cost saving initiatives -Vendor risk assessments -Management of competitive bid processes -Executing global procurement initiatives -Working with key Financial and Legal stakeholders -Developing a business aligned purchasing strategy -Market researching and benchmarking - Senior board level stakeholder engagement -Team management experience The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior Procurement professional accustomed to working at the 'Head of Level', they are likely to meet the following criteria: -Extensive procurement experience gained across managing multiple categories -Proven team management experience -MCIPS Qualified/ Strong Educational background - advantageous -Excellent stakeholder management - must be a passion and expert negotiator - Delivery focussed -Strong analytical & problem solving ability -Global experience -Strong strategic experience For immediate consideration please forward on a copy of your CV.
