St. Benedict's Catholic High School is an "Outstanding" (Ofsted 2012) school in semi-rural South Warwickshire with 633 pupils aged 11-18 years. This is an exciting time at the school as we recently opened our Sixth Form (Sept 2011). At the core of our Sixth Form provision is the International Baccalaureate. In addition, we also offer courses, such as BTEC, which enhance our comprehensive tradition and philosophy.

We are a community of just under 100 dedicated teaching and support staff who serve to educate, inspire and care for each and every student entrusted to us.

We are looking to appoint, on a full time basis, a Head of Geography. You will have the ability to lead, manage and liaise effectively, both formally and informally, with members of your department and support staff to ensure that students achieve outstanding academic progress and receive appropriate academic guidance.

You will have confident understanding of the curriculum and the ability to inspire excellent learning and teaching. You will have the ability to apply your skills effectively across a range of syllabuses and key stages.
