We have an exciting new opportunity as head of Financial planning and analysis for a large insurance company based in the city. This is a group level role which will focus on monitoring, managing and reporting on the business performance of the Group and the regional businesses, worldwide, so as to ensure delivery against agreed business plans and performance targets in line with Group strategy.

Head of Financial Planning and Analysis Responsibilities;

- Leading a community of FP&A resources responsible for delivering an integrated regional/global operational planning and performance management process
- Creating the regional/global process framework for FP
- Qualified accountant, with significant post qualification experience
- Extensive experience in business management in the financial services industry, in senior line management roles
- Proven track record of delivering challenging financial performance targets in difficult conditions and/or leading successful business turnaround initiatives
- Senior management experience in a multi-national context
- Comprehensive knowledge of:
- Group business strategy and worldwide operations
- Financial aspects of PRA regulation
- Commercial financial planning and analysis best practice
- Excellent skills in:
- Business planning and performance management
