Head of Finance - Maternity Cover

A dynamic and growing supply chain technology business based in central London, has a job for a Head of Finance to cover for a period of maternity leave. Backed by a substantial business, this start-up tech business has stability, growth, and a promising deal pipeline, making it an enticing opportunity for a high-calibre candidate to join the business. This role is responsible for managing one staff member, who will assist you in preparing monthly management and financial reports, budgeting for projects, documenting policies and procedures, monitoring profitability, and presenting management reports to the board. We are looking for a qualified accountant (CA, CIMA, ACCA) with significant experience working in commercial businesses. This company has operations in a number of different countries across the globe, so strong communication skills are important, as well as the ability to present findings, and articulate business requirements to the board. This role is due to commence in mid September, so we are looking for candidates who are available on short notice, and who can pick up a role for 6-12 months on either a salaried or daily-rate basis.
