Head of Finance, Corporate Markets EMEA - Fixed-term Contract 14 months! Up to £75K+ bonus + benefits

A global market leading data provider are looking to bring in a head of finance into their corporate markets EMEA for 14 months in order to provide financial information, analysis and insight to senior business managers for the Corporate Markets business to help them maximise their business performance. The role will also have one direct report supporting them in their role.

The Tax & Accounting business unit is the leading provider of technology and information solutions, as well as integrated tax compliance software and services to accounting, tax and corporate finance professionals in accounting firms, corporations, law firms and government.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Builds strong relationships with business management and be seen as a key member of the management team who adds value to the decision making process
- Review and analyse performance management reporting of actual monthly results and variances for Sales, Revenue, Accesses, Costs, Headcount, Capex and other KPIs
- Provides support for all Transfer Pricing related activities
- Provides operational support for activities such as shared services, contract administration and other operational tasks
- Support management in budgeting and forecast processes and ensure financial models are completed appropriately
- Prepare business plans/business case analysis for new projects or initiatives, working closely with different functional managers to agree planning assumptions, scope, and objectives.
- Prepare business presentations/briefing papers for local, regional, and/or global management
- Carry out other compliance activities including revenue assurance and support for Tax compliance and cost assurance
- Review current financial processed and recommend and implement improved processes as appropriate.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
- Provide input to ad hoc projects/tasks as required by the business.

TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

- Advanced degree or ACA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with Post Qualified Finance/Business experience.
- Deadline and detail orientated with an ability to drive and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong financial modelling, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- String influencer with the ability to interact and influence senior level management within US and EMEA markets.
- Good knowledge of Thomson Reuters products and commercial awareness.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

- VP of Finance EMEA and APAC, Managing Director of Corporate Markets, Business Management, Central/Group Finance.
- The Finance Director role is a full time role and will be based in the London Office. This role will report into the Vice President of Finance, EMEA and APAC.
