For our client in Schaffhausen we are looking for a Head of Facility Management for a contract for 8 months.
Place: Schaffhausen
Duration: ASAP- 31.12.2017
Workload: 100%
Main responsibilities
* General facility asset maintenance, recapitalization and improvement projects, as well as coordination of overall facility modifications and additions and alterations.
* Lead equipment maintenance (1 employee) and tool shop operations (2 employees) to ensure appropriate support for production
* Responsibility as liaison with Corporate Engineering, outside agencies and local municipalities is a requirement of this position in compliance with relevant governmental requirements and Corporate guidelines.
* Oversees any facility asset maintenance activity and business relations with involved third parties
* Plan and execute large scale projects across various disciplines to reduce product costs, increase capacity, achieve schedule attainment.
* Develop and supervise within budgets for the respective areas of responsibility.
* Forecast and perform proactively to ensure that the future needs of the facility are met.
* Provide classic Industrial Engineering to implement new equipment and techniques and lead projects regarding Supplier Acceptance Test (SAT), Field Acceptance Test (FAT), DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ
* Study and propose plant layout/facility redesign for an integrated efficient operation and space optimization; realize up to $1M facility projects
* Establishes good relationships with local authorities and stakeholders related to the AGS property
* Building and property loss protection
* Organize first line support including internal and external service stand-by for technical alerts and emergency situations
Education and experience required for the role
* Basic: B.S. in Engineering or Industrial Management, ideally M.S. in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
* Minimum: 2 years of facilities Engineering experience, preferably with a Medical Device and/or pharmaceutical company, preferred: 5 years experience in Facilities Engineering Management with construction project experience
* Thorough knowledge of all aspects of facility management functions, high level of technical knowledge of operations and equipment utilized within the facilities
* basic understanding of HSE processes and services preferable
* good interpersonal skills, strong managerial and organizational skills
* very good knowledge of regulatory requirements (GMP, ISO, etc.)
* project management experience in leading cross-functional large scale projects
* Good command of English and German language in written and spoken
* Leadership experience preferable
KPI's of the role
* The site meets all compliance requirements, all GMP and Non GMP processes and documentation are up to date
* Goals/targets are achieved within agreed-upon timelines
* Projects are implemented in time and on budget
* Availability of all production equipment provided by the tool shop in time
* Overall satisfaction with FM including tool shop service, effectiveness and timeliness
* All audit-generated action items or agency-generated findings at the site are closed within the agreed-upon timelines and in a manner which prevents recurrence
