HEAD OF ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE, TOGAF, MODAF

Head of Enterprise Architecture required to develop an in depth understanding of the organisations strategy and plans and to manage the development of an Enterprise Architecture Framework that includes principles, policies, standards, and processes across all architectural perspectives, business, information, application, infrastructure and security which is used to develop Enterprise Architecture and reference Architectures for ICT enabled change programmes.

ESSENTIAL

- Significant experience in IS and ICT strategy development, service transformation and service delivery processes - through the analysis and assessment of the strategic information, systems and technology requirements in policy development, and business strategies, with a sound track record of their delivery.
- Extensive knowledge of, the principles and practices of Enterprise Architecture and experience of working within defined Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and processes (TOGAF, Zachman or MODAF), with a demonstrable track record of delivery in all areas of Enterprise Architecture, including business, information, application, infrastructure and security, for medium to large organisations.
- Significant experience of working with, and governing, outsourced suppliers and product vendors and evaluating solution architecture proposals against business requirements, including an excellent understanding of key technologies (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM and Open Source).
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, including strong track record of building relationships and networks with people at all levels including senior business and main board stakeholders. An extensive knowledge and appreciation of organisational dynamics, business functions, processes, practices and policies, with the ability to give advice, guidance and support on strategic developments, with extensive knowledge of, and experience in, presenting and interpreting complex information to senior management.
- Experience of using agile as an approach to project delivery 

DESIRABLE

- Experience of working within multi-organisation teams (in-house, contingent labour and multi supplier environment
- Experience in coaching and mentoring teams and individuals
- Understanding of HMG/ICT security standards
