A major telecoms company has an exciting opportunity to join them on a contract basis, as they seek to recruit a Head of Rewards (Employee compensation/benefits).

This role will see you reporting into the Director of Rewards, and working in partnership with the wider HR team you will need to manage 2 direct reports, and will be a key contributor to the overall HR business agenda and strategy.

As Head of Rewards, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining both the long-term Reward and People Policy Strategies and associated policies and practices to support business needs. You will be working closely with Senior Business figures, and Group Human Resources on the Reward Strategy and Annual Pay Review process and support the company P&P Director in creating packages for Executive Level recruitment and severance.

Your Responsibilities will include:

- Provide analytical support in the review, design and development of competitive, cost effective and innovative reward solutions, in order to attract, motivate and retain employees.
- Drive a broad approach to market analysis and benchmarking. Obtain, review and analyse market remuneration and recognition data and trends to support the business.
- Manage the annual Pay Review and Bonus cycles in the business.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, Internal Comms and HRBP's to ensure that all reward changes are well communicated and understood.
- Ensure strong relationships are in place with benefit suppliers and the business has a positive reputation in the wider compensation and benefits market place.
- Responsible for the design and delivery of bonus and sales incentive schemesprocesses and recognition arrangements in line with business targets and to drive consistency across all the business units and compliance with the Company's pay philosophy/best practice where appropriate.
- Keep up to date with UK and European legislative framework, ensuring Reward and Benefit policies and processes are accurate and support business KPI's around employee retention, recruitment and engagement.
- Support or manage ad hoc projects including but not limited to TUPE outsourcing/acquisitions, redundancy programmes, organisational changes etc
- Manage the Reward Team and the technical development of the Reward Consultant and Analyst.

The client is looking for candidates to have gained significant prior working knowledge within HR/Rewards area of a large organisation, and will expect you to have the following:

- Advanced data analysis and interpretation skills.
- A background of incentive design and analysis.
- Have previously managed bonus and salary review processes.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how incentives drive business performance.
- Remuneration survey experience including role matching and analysis of data.
- Proven competent/advanced Excel spreadsheet skills eg able to work with formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, graphs and manipulate data.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience of Reward in a Retail or fast-paced sales oriented organisation.

It may be seen as an advantage if you have Generalist HR/Financial Analysis experience, or have developed communications/marketing reward and recognition schemes. Previous working experience within a technology/telecoms organisation maybe desirable.
