Head of Direct Sales Force

Project Lead Protection DSF
Contract Duration: 3 months
Prime Location: York
Travel Requirements: May need to be travelling to Sheffield as well. Can be based anywhere as long as can travel if needed

Main Duties:
* Responsible for the development and delivery of the Protection direct sales force model
* Lead the set up and running of a test & learn pilot
* Test the customer market, the customer journey and confirm our ability to achieve expected business outcomes from this channel. Validate that an effective Adviser generated leads model is possible and can support the anticipated conversion rate.
* Define and deliver the operating model.
* Lead and organise a multi-functional project team to develop and deliver the DSF model.

Key Skills Required:
* Knowledge of the Protection Insurance industry and market.
* Understanding of the sales process and proposition.
* Creative thinking and innovation of solutions that challenge the current paradigm.
* Ability to build new capability.
* Knowledge of business models and frameworks to support decision-making.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Financial Services and regulated sales.
* Background in leading and motivating people towards a common goal.
* Change management in a large and complex environment.
* Management of relationships
* Understands the customer journey and their needs to ensure they are treated fairly.
* Understanding of the risks faced and that controls are in place to manage & mitigate these risks.
