Head of Direct Marketing (3 month contract)

£50,000 - £60,000 pro rata

Our client is looking for a Head of Direct Marketing to complete a three month contract where they will be responsible for overseeing all offline marketing strategies and attracting new customers.

Head of Direct Marketing responsibilities will include:

Defining marketing communication strategies
Overseeing all offline marketing
Developing and implementing offline marketing strategies to attract new customers
Reviewing competitor communications and activities to support development
Checking reports and evaluations based on the effectiveness of marketing activity
Ensuring all reports are provided on time and information is communicated appropriately
Exploring and testing new media opportunities
Monitoring and motivating the members of the Direct Marketing team
Ensuring the creative team produce work of a consistently high standard

Essential skills:

Educated to degree level in Marketing or a related subject
A strong Direct Marketing background, ideally 5 years +
Experience managing a team
Excellent knowledge of managing complex data driven direct marketing, acquisition and retention activities
A good general knowledge of marketing, both offline and online
Confident in managing a varied and demanding workload
Excellent communication and analytical skills
