Position : Head Of Digital Testing
Location : LONDON / LEEDS / NEWCASTLE UK
Job Type : 6 Months duration
Security Check- BPSS DS Level Clearance

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The Head of Digital Testing will report to Director General for Digital Transformation

• Determines and implements the testing policy, testing standards, test metrics, and traceability of testing against requirements.
• Determines the approach to Test Assurance of any supplier testing, required improvements to the testing process DWP and suppliers.
• Leads DWP in defining requirements that are unambiguous and testable
• Define, drive and implement best practices across the organisation.
• Drive recruitment initiatives for the required skills.
• Participate in validation of complex technical solutions when required.
• Drive the usage of QA frameworks and tools
• Drives capability to deliver a continuous testing approach across all programmes
• Remain active as a hands on practitioner in your area of capability
• Deliver digital services that meet the Digital by Default Service Standard before they are launched on GOV.UK
• Clarify and articulate the diverse requirements of users and delivery partners to support effective delivery of a service
• Provide hands-on technical leadership that is visible at all levels in DWP
• Act as a strong advocate for digital solutions and approaches across the department
• Work across government to ensure consistent strategic direction for Digital Testing in DWP and set this future vision for all levels of the organization
• Set a high technical standard in Digital Testing across the department
• Ensure compliance with the standards and framework for Digital Testing
