My client, a London based local authority are looking for an Interim Head of Development Management to join on a rolling contract.

Successful track record of operational management of development management in a complex urban environment.

Evidence of well-developed knowledge and understanding of the issues facing diverse urban areas.

Evidence of successfully implementing LDF policies in order to achieve the Sustainable Community Strategy objectives.

Experience of leading on major initiatives and corporate activities in relation to planning, regeneration and building control.

Evidence of success in motivating and brokering collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Experience of successfully working with senior Councillors and leading at Planning Committee

The ideal Head of Development Management will have experience in working within the public sector and have a background of developing and implementing business plans for the meeting of operational requirements.
