Key accountabilities
- Day to day accountability for the overall Transformation Roadmap, focussing on the International business
- Understand, communicate and manage dependencies between the component projects and programmes
- Develop and manage a programme design authority to ensure overall integrity and a robust change management approach
- Monitor progress against base-lined plans.
- Raise risks/issues and propose solutions to the Board in a timely manner
- Ensure that the programme, as a whole, remains focussed on the overall objectives
Required skills
- Strong personal leadership skills, driving effective cross-functional working across multi-disciplined teams
- Credible to all key functional stakeholders, especially Commercial, Operations and IT Leadership
- Experience of delivering change in a large-scale unionised workforce
- Successful track record in delivering major business change programmes in a private sector, large scale logistics environment.
- Experience must include programmes of >£20m in scale and preferably considerably larger.
- Commercially driven, benefits focused management style
- Strong insights and experience of regarding IT as an enabler of change
- Excellent inter-personal skills; able to mentor
