Our client, a leading online gaming client, is looking for a candidate to joing them as Head of Customer Marketing.

Responsible for maximising and protecting the value obtained from our current customers - across all regions and products - short term and longer term.

To lead the departments transition from adolescence to adulthood - with all the implications this implies sophistication in terms of service, data, process, talent, execution

To drive the departments journey in becoming a highly tuned operational machine that is capable of delivering highly targeted, highly relevant, multi channel, data rich customer marketing services - and linking this with other parts of the business - in particular ops, finance and legal - and the regions.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

- Devising, agreeing and executing ongoing customer marketing activities that drive customer value/reduce churn/maximise ROI from existing active customers with particular focus on high value customers
- Driving technological and data departments to release new capabilities to enable new customer impact
- Devising, and managing welcome and winback and loyalty programmes
- Ensuring compliance and data protection rules are complied to
- Close liaison with legal, risk, finance, ops and regional P&Ls

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Ideally will have worked in an org that is highly reliant on existing customers, is well versed in sophisticated targeting and data usage, fluent in managing adjacent teams or departments to enable delivery, capable of running large and diverse teams and someone who has clear gravitas and deep experience to influence
- A deep and proven understanding of domain issues issues as drivers of customer value
- Knows how to manage short term vs long term value
- Knows how to allocate resources to best address, short term as well as longer term customer behaviours
- Knows how to spot diamonds in the data mine and devise plans to address how to report accurately and fairly
- Knows how to manage trade offs within portfolio and regional axis
