Head of Consumer Lending We have opportunities in this role in 1 Churchill Place, London As Barclays Head of Consumer Lending, youll play a leading role in our Personal and Corporate Banking Digital team. Its all about maximising value by engaging, maintaining and expanding our portfolio of digital clients, by designing and implementing effective customer lending strategies. Its a high-profile role in an innovative and diverse area, where youll be making a real impact on the leading digital lending team in the UK. About us: Our Digital Banking team is one of the most innovative parts of our business, and the perfect environment for anyone with digital experience in an e-commerce background. The aim here is to make Barclays the go-to digital bank in the UK, and even though theyve only been around for 13 years, the team processes over 1.7million transactions per day and have over 3.4million customers. As Head of Consumer Lending, your main responsibilities will involve: * Developing the digital customer experience, making sure our products and services stand out from market competition* Delivering metrics for Consumer Lending Product teams* Developing and maintaining existing Consumer Lending products * Creating, leading and coaching a high-performing team, making sure they have the skills, knowledge and tools to put our customers first every time* Providing authoritative advice to senior stakeholders and building relationships across the business to promote a culture of collaboration As Head of Consumer Lending, your skills and qualifications will include:* Experience of directing the customer experience for a large scale, secure business with a range of digital platforms - turning ideas into innovative products and services* An extensive knowledge of online and mobile business, digital banking and systems, and how they impact the customer journey* A strong record of leading digital products, from conception, through launch, to maintenance and support* A clear understanding of team leadership and management techniques and principles, and the strategic vision to drive a customer-centric environment* The proven ability to present complex, detailed information effectively to senior stakeholders, and the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders across the business The Benefits: Our customers deserve the best.
