I am currently working with an international charity based in Warwickshire who are looking for a Head of Communications on a 9 month FTC to cover maternity. You will be working directly with the Marketing Communications Director in order to define the strategic direction of the charitys external communications in order to deliver against objectives and KPIs. You will be reporting into the Marketing Communications and have direct line management responsibilities for a team of 4.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing management to your team
- Ensure that all communications going out are aligned with the brand
- Lead, plan and implement communications within the head office in order to deliver strategic objectives.
- Taking the lead in securing media coverage as well as acting as a spokesperson in media interviews
- Maintain internal communications across the organisation
- Create strong relationships with stakeholders both internal and external

Key attributes of the Head of Communications will include:

- Excellent networking skills across stakeholders and the media
- Experience within a senior communications role
- Proven experience in managing a team
- The ability to create strong brand awareness
