Head of Commercial Developement, Commercial Strategy, CTC clearance, Public Sector

Spring Technology are looking for a CTC cleared Head of Commercial Development for our public sector client based in London.

Assignment:
While there is some commercial and business expertise, it is acknowledged that we are moving into new territory and need to tap into a different set of skills, knowledge and experience. Some early work has begun on developing a commercial strategy and it is expected the main focus of the assignment will be to complete that work. To include and action plan for implementation.

Key Tasks:
* Commercial and financial modelling.
* Identifying prospects around College non-training income from UK and international customers/members (eg accreditation and licensing of training providers.
* Intellectual property rights.
* Scoping new markets and products outside of the UK and the likely sustainability of these markets.
* Insights into the commercial strategies of other bodies operating in similar markets.
* The likely timescales it would take to reach profit margins required; issues, risks and sensitivities, etc.

Essential Skills:
Experience of developing commercial strategies, ideally within a public sector environment and/or a training and professional body environment. Also likely to include experience of financial modelling, sensitivity analyses and break-even, customer demand analysis, competitor analysis, etc

The successful candidate must be CTC cleared.
