We have an urgent role for a Head of Clinical Governance acting at Director level to be responsible for the development and maintenance of a clinical governance framework for an NHS organisation covering all services and activities. Maintaining a framework for governance of clinical procedural
documents and developing these within scope of role. The post holder is responsible for maintaining a framework for and managing staff responsible for ensuring compliance with clinical standards set out by statute, regulators and contracts; this includes the areas of Clinical Compliance, Clinical Administration, Clinical Risk Management, User Experience, Seeking Specialist Clinical Knowledge & Legal Representation and PPI.

Essential Skills include:
- Registered nurse
- Relevant post-graduate management qualifications in Quality/Clinical Governance or relevant

experience
- Significant senior management experience within acute/integrated/primary

care/complex healthcare organisation
- Experience of successful project and programme management
- Change management and leading a team through a changing and developing work

environment
- Developing and enhancing collaborative partnerships, internally and externally
- Supporting Board level Directors and committees
- Performance and Budget Management
- Senior Clinical Governance Role in an NHS organisation
