Our client is a London ALMO who are currently looking for a interim Head of Chief Executive's Office for a period of six months. The successful candidate will provide a strategic lead on communications, and serve as the Company Secretary.

Main responsibilities and duties of the role:

The successful candidate will report directly into the Chief Executive and will manage a team of 5, covering the following areas:

Communications
Governance

It is essential that applicants are able to demonstrate the following:

- Strong relationship building skills with a range of stakeholders -this includes, the Chief Executive, the Board, resident committees, officers at the Council, the Executive Leadership Team and staff
- Ability to lead on external and internal communication strategy, including media management and public relations
- Excellent understanding of governance and the role of a Company Secretary
- The ability work collaboratively with others, as well as manage a small team

This position would be for an initial period of 3-6 months, with a daily rate of £450- £500
