Head of Channels - 3 Month Contract - London

HEAD OF CHANNELS - 3 MONTH CONTRACT - LONDON

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is looking for a Head of Channels for a 3 month contract in London.

Objective:

To reinvigorate existing and introduce new channels of communication for our clients employees. To develop content strategies for each channel that are fully integrated with the strategic communication planning process. As an outcome, content published through each channel should be relevant, balanced, useful and compelling.

Key accountabilities:

- To lead the development of all channels of communication with Our clients employees, including the face-to-face briefing process, the newspaper, communications with managers, and business tv screens, email news bulletins.
- This should be based on:

1. Segmentation of our internal audiences and understanding of their needs and preferences.
2. An understanding of the organisation's overarching communication goals. - Working with the Director of Transformation Communications and Head of Corporate Media Relations, develop and manage content strategies for the Intranet and the corporate website.
- To oversee the management of the daily and weekly editorial calendar, ensuring there is fresh and relevant information published through all channels.
- To set and maintain standards for the presentation of visual, interactive and editorial content, ensuring content catches attention, is relevant for the audience, is on brand and professional.
- To lead the development of upward feedback channels.
- To regularly measure the effectiveness of the communications channels to build continuous improvement plans.
- To maintain and manage a roster of suppliers, ensuring we are achieving value for money and reducing costs where possible.
- To commission and oversee the development of high profile communication campaigns.
