Our York-based client is looking for an experienced Head of Change Portfolio to join their Shared Service Directorate.

The aim will be to ensure timely services based on high quality and consistency of data with responsive services clearly defined and easily accessible to customers (internal and external). The SSD provides client bodies with services in Finance, Procurement and Human Resources Operations (including Payroll).

You will liaise between the Account Management team, the Change Delivery Service (including the Change Delivery Group) and the Services Board.

The post holder will be responsible for managing and developing the Change Delivery Service.

Key Responsibilities:

oChair the Change Delivery Group
oProvide statistical performance information of the Change Delivery Service.
oMaintain performance indicators and any potential failure mitigated and or escalated.
oDeliver a Customer focused service (internal and external) which ensures the accuracy of all outputs at the agreed levels.
oContribute to resource and capacity planning.
oDeputise in the absence of the Head of Change Portfolio.
oWork within the agreed framework and processes of Change Management for the delivery of all change activities

Relevant Experience
Desirable
oExposure to Finance, Human Resources and Procurement processes.
oService Management in an ITIL environment.
oExposure to resource planning.
oExperience of working in a public sector environment.

Essential
oExperience and knowledge of customer requested change transition.
oProven leadership and management methods.
