Head of Business Operations - Strategic leadership, Operational Support, Customer Service,

My client is looking for an experienced Head of Business Operations to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading company strategy, operational support and customer service. The post holder will act as the key strategic link between the Director of Operations, Operations Senior Management Team and the wider organisation, providing direct support to the Director of Operations in terms of business performance reviews, presentation preparation, deputising at certain meetings and events as appropriate, and handling complex issues.

Key responsibilities;

- Provide strong leadership across the function to ensure all customer service standards and targets are met and developed to continually meet and exceed customer needs.
- Provide effective leadership and accountability for the Customer Support function, enabling the team to deliver a high quality service to both internal and external customers.
- Execute management responsibilities effectively, working with, leading and acting as a role model for team members and colleagues, ensuring capabilities to achieve successful delivery of business performance whilst maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial resources delegated in line with the Civil Service values.

Candidates must have;

- Experience of setting the strategy to drive performance improvements across a diverse organisation
- Experience of leading customer facing teams on a large scale against the delivery of continually evolving service provision.
- Experience of setting and delivering performance against challenging KPIs and SLAs.
- Proficient in workforce planning tools and techniques.
