Head Of Audit - Retail Banking

A new Retail Banking Head of Audit position has just been announced, due to a new team being organised. This new and exciting role (based in Gloucester) will see the successful candidate take control of the methodology definition and delivery of risk-based audit plans for assigned areas of the bank, influencing business strategy and policy, working practices and standards by providing insight, control and thought leadership. The areas covered will incorporates leadership of a team that includes the Distribution, Products and the Commercial divisions. Salary up to c £110,000 inc all cash bens + bonus This is a truly one off high profile vacancy role, with a very high level of exposure to move into more senior positions, or into other 'head of' teams. This is a fantastic bad of honour for someone to deliver in a dramatically changing organisation with such an emphasis on new challenges and risks, as well as customer service. To be considered, you must have operated at a Senior Manager/ Head of Audit level, within a large Banking environment. As a result of this, you must have all the necessary competencies around delivery within budget, influencing stakeholders and building high performing teams.
